1. NimbleKit

NimbleKit is the fastest way to create applications for iPhone and iPod touch.
You don’t need to know Objective-C or iPhone SDK.
All you need is to know how to write an HTML page with Javascript code.

As a web developer, NimbleKit just may be my introduction into iPhone app development. Since the SDK was made available, I’ve wanted get involved in app development (and who hasn’t?) which means learning Objective-C. If I had time to spare, I’d do just that. But, at this point, app development for me would just be an opportunity to tinker as I have nothing specific in mind to build. Coding native apps, albeit feature-limited, using languages I’m already comfortable with certainly makes the plunge much easier. Who knows, I could develop the next great novelty app that I could sling to U.S. App Store customers — Vomit Tosser? Shithead Test? — but I’m not counting on it.
